This unusual pair of Russian vodka decanters are believed to be of Tsar Nicholas II and Empress Alexandra in coronation robes c. 1894 and a novel gift for a vodka fan! Produced by Kutskova Vodka and sourced from a contact who was living in East Berlin prior to the fall of the Berlin wall.
These are beautifully cast and hand decorated in blue and white. The glaze is intact and the porcelain hats/lids are still in place. The original corks sealing the vodka are now inside the decanters. Sadly no vodka remains... Could also be used and repurposed as candle holders - a fab talking point for your table or fireplace mantlepiece!
Dimensions: height 30/31cm at top of lid/hat. In excellent collector's condition with full maker's marks to base and retail details on labels. Priced for the pair.
