This lovely green glazed jug has sunflowers and a beautifully mottled finish. The rim is bordered with a zigzag finish and the whole effect is hand marked design. A really useful size, it is also very decorative and as glazed throughout could also be used as a vase. A unique and one-off piece.
Dimensions: height 25.5cm, diameter at rim 8.5cm. One small chip to interior of rim which does not spoil the effect. Firing cracks to base. Possible signature of maker in the centre of one of the flowers. Maker's stamp and scratched numbers to base. Made in England - stamp BRE... white clay base.
