I've researched this pair, but do not have a conclusive name to put to them, however there is no denying that these are a lovely pair of plates or plaques in a very confident and engaging style depict wrens as they should be. In terracotta clay these have crazing to the glaze and are signed RR in sgraffito style on the reverse - where they are also decorated. Wonderfully engaging, these have good weight and wonderful colouring.
