A wonderful footed French jug with a rather fancy handle - hand thrown and decorated with sponge ware and hand painted. Traditional style and simply designed this has all the hallmarks of a one-off piece.
Dimensions: height 13.5cm, diameter at rim 10cm. A couple of grazes to glaze and minor wear to interior, but glazed throughout so it can take flowers. Nice wear all round and a delightful piece. No maker's mark.
